Who We Are
Shilpangan was established on 13th March 1993 A.D. and has grown into a respected institution committed to artistic learning and creative excellence.
Founded by Shri Biswajit Gupta, who continues as the Principal, Shilpangan has inspired students through drawing, painting, craft work, exhibitions, competitions, and artistic programmes.
The institution was initially guided by its first President, Late Shri Sanjoy Banerjee, and is presently led by its President, Shri Siddhartha Banerjee.
Today, Shilpangan is managed by a dedicated committee of 19 members, ensuring smooth functioning and continuous development of the institution.
At present, Shilpangan proudly nurtures around 600 students, supported by a team of 30 teachers and instructors and 5 office staff members, all working together to create a strong and inspiring learning environment.
